Lady If I have any beliefs about immortality, it is that certain dogs I have known will go to heaven, and very, very few persons.

- James Thurber (1894-1961) U.S. humorist, illustrator.

Our beautiful girl lost her fight with epilepsy this morning. She had over 15 consecutive fits in less than an hour. She was given overnight to try to recover but sadly this time it beat her. Mark and I are absolutely broken hearted. Thanks to Longridge vet and thanks to Duncan and Joanne from the Merseyside Greyhound Trust who have always had a soft spot for our girl. Will miss you. Safe journey and run free now. XX
Dogs are not our whole life
but they make our lives whole.

We sadly lost our beloved Frankie on 9th February 2017.
He was taken very suddenly at the age of 8 and although heartbroken at losing him, we are relieved he did not suffer. We will always be grateful to Graham and Joanne for bringing us our mischievous, comical, loving and kind boy. We had just under 7 wonderful years with Frankie and he enriched our lives immensely. Sleep tight our handsome boy, you knew how much you were loved. Roy and Pete and your brother Harvey xxx

Amymem
In memory of Amy. She was born on the 25th of December 2010 - 1st of March 2018. Amy was one of the kindest and most beautiful greys that ever lived. She always used to rub her head up and down the sofa to make sure we gave her a belly scratch, she will always be in our memory for ever and always. She was timid at first but then after a few months her character began to show and she never hid from anyone. She was so nice and calm but what made most people laugh was when Torey and Lennon, our other two greys would try and steal her treat she would bark at them to warn them. R.I.P Amy xxxx.

If it is I grow frail and weak
And pain should wake me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done
For this last battle can't be won.

You will be sad, I understand,
Don't let your grief then stay your hand.
For this day, more than all the rest
Your love and friendship stand the test.

We've had so many happy years,
What is to come will hold no fears.
You'll not want me to suffer, so,
When the time comes please let me go.

I know in time you too will see
It is kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I've been saved.

Do not grieve that it should be you
Who has to decide the thing to do.
We've been so close, us two these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
